About Us

Northwest Hydro-Mulchers was founded in 1981 by a dedicated husband-and-wife team who helped restore and stabilize hillsides impacted by the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. What began as a small operation focused on erosion control and revegetation has grown into one of the Pacific Northwest's trusted names in hydroseeding, erosion control, and environmental restoration. For more than four decades, we have proudly served contractors, developers, municipalities, utilities, and property owners throughout Oregon and Washington, helping establish healthy vegetation and protect valuable natural resources.

Today, Northwest Hydro-Mulchers remains family-owned and independently operated from beautiful Boring, Oregon. While our equipment, technology, and capabilities have evolved over the years, our commitment to quality workmanship, environmental stewardship, and exceptional customer service has never changed. We take great pride in our history, our deep roots in the communities we serve, and the lasting relationships we've built throughout the region. More than 40 years later, we continue to help restore land, prevent erosion, and create a greener, more resilient future for the Pacific Northwest.

Our Impact Is Far-Reaching

Over 40 years, we have worked on thousands of projects. We take pride in our long history in the PNW, bringing high-quality hydroseeding to a wide variety of projects.

Goals Remain Simple

Driven by innovation, experience, and a strong work ethic, Northwest Hydro-Mulchers is committed to helping every project succeed. Our team takes pride in delivering hydroseeding, erosion control, and land restoration solutions that are efficient, reliable, and cost-effective. By combining proven techniques with modern equipment, we consistently provide results that help projects stay on schedule while promoting environmental health.

Environmental restoration isn't just what we do—it's what we're passionate about. From transforming residential lawns and commercial developments to restoring large-scale infrastructure, utility, and mine reclamation sites, we approach every project with the same level of dedication and care. Our mission is to help create healthier landscapes, protect natural resources, and leave the land better than we found it for future generations.
